Fully equipped in sports facilities

Dedicated sports facilities in Ottawa range from major arenas and stadiums–Canadian Tire Centre, TD Place, Ottawa Stadium–to university and college sports fields and arenas. The city is likewise home to excellent venues for track and field, watersports, cycling, swimming and diving, outdoor winter sports, track and field, soccer, football, rugby and others sports.

In fact, Ottawa offers the complete package for multi-sport events. Plus, the city also offers grand public spaces and impressive off-site venues for associated festivals, awards ceremonies and receptions.

TD Place at Lansdowne – a modern 24,000-seat stadium and 10,000-seat arena – is home to Ottawa’s CFL team, the Ottawa REDBLACKS, and its junior ice hockey team, the Ottawa 67’s.

Easy to get to and get around

Ottawa is located within a 2-hour flight of over 200 million North Americans, and its award-winning international airport is just 15 minutes from its highly compact and walkable downtown. The city’s new light rail system provides rapid public transit from downtown to points east and west, connecting downtown hotels and accommodations to attractions, shopping, venues and more.
