Ottawa’s popular museums, historic sites and attractions are open, with modifications to ensure safety and physical distancing. Learn more about their admission guidelines and operating schedule.

New hotels opening
The contemporary Wingate by Wyndham Kanata West Ottawa, opened in August 2020 with 120 rooms, is located near the Canadian Tire Centre and a short drive from the Kanata North Technology Park. Groups will enjoy free breakfast and WiFi, plus a gym, pool and on-site bar.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West - 102 (rooms & suites); pool and the Hyatt Place Ottawa – West – 140 rooms (including 10 suites) will open in summer 2021.
Safe Travels Stamp
Ottawa Tourism has been awarded the #SafeTravels Stamp, established by the World Travel Council. The Safe Travels Stamp is an international symbol designed to allow travellers to recognize governments and companies around the world, which have adopted health and hygiene, standardized protocols – so consumers can experience 'Safe Travels.'
Some of our members such as Brew Donkey Tours, Canadian War museum, C’est Bon Cooking, Escape Bicycle tour, Haunted Walks, and the Diefenbunker also earned Safe Travel stamps.
