At Ottawa Tourism, we are working with industry partners like you to build business events back up. Simply share a viable lead* with us and we’ll work with them to meet in Ottawa – and pay you $1000 per citywide referral and $500 per small meeting referral. Contact us to learn more and to join us in bringing the business events industry back to where we all want it to be.

*Viable leads for small meetings must be for a minimum of a two day stay; delegate count must be a minimum of 300 with minimum 100 peak room nights. For citywide conferences, leads must be for conferences with a minimum of three-night stay; delegate count must be a minimum of 500 with minimum 500 peak room nights. Not eligible for existing leads/confirmed or tentative business. The lead must be seriously considering Ottawa, Canada as a host destination – the submission must include client contact details to ensure the lead is viable. Leads cannot be combined with any other promotions or event funding. Client must be aware that the lead has been submitted to the program. All clients from the viable leads will be invited to Ottawa for a site visit with expenses paid by Ottawa Tourism. Further qualifications at the discretion of the destination and listed in terms and conditions of this lead share incentive program.

What is a qualified lead?

Can I qualify for tentative business?

Unfortunately, existing leads/confirmed or tentative business does not qualify for this incentive.
