Sip a cold craft beer, learn about the brewing process and get a bite to eat in an open-concept brewery with an outdoor patio in the Ottawa suburb of Kanata.
Calabogie Brewing Company is named after the village about 100 kilometres west of Ottawa where its first brewery/taproom was launched. Its second location, in Kanata, preserves some of the rugged rural character of the original, with lots of natural wood, outdoorsy gear as decor and a huge patio. It’s a popular place to sample Calabogie’s distinctive beers, such as Leann (a heather ale), Nitro Brown Cow (a milk stout) and Bogie (a West Coast American IPA).
