Explore the history and impact of one of Canada’s longest peacekeeping missions at the Canadian War Museum’s special panel exhibition, Cyprus – A Divided Island.
Marking the 60th anniversary of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Cyprus, this exhibition highlights the vital contributions of more than 30,000 Canadians who served there from 1964 to 1993.
The display covers the numerous tasks Canadians undertook during the mission, from observing ceasefire lines to responding to combat during a 1974 crisis.
Discover Cyprus’s continuing importance for contemporary military operations and as a site of memory for those who served.
