Follow Escape Manor

Choose a themed escape room to get locked into with friends and try to puzzle your way out of it—before the clock runs out.

Escape Manor offers a wide variety of themed rooms—some scary, some not—from which you and your friends attempt to make your escape, using your wits and working together to find clues and solve riddles. You can play with groups of two to 12 people and available themes range from fantasy to space, spycraft, horror and lighthearted fun.

There are three Escape Manor locations in Ottawa: one downtown on Queen Street, one in the Hintonburg neighbourhood west of downtown, and one in Barrhaven, a suburb south of the city. Several games—including the world's largest escape room—are also hosted at the Diefenbunker, a decommissioned Cold War-era underground bunker (now a museum!) located 45 minutes' drive west of downtown Ottawa in the village of Carp.

All rooms can be played in either English or French (let them know ahead of time which language you prefer). Kids under 15 are welcome but must have a parent with them or written permission. There are also junior-level escape rooms specifically for kids to enjoy. If you're not up for being locked into a physical space, online escape adventures are available.
