Hop on an eco-friendly and quiet water taxi for a quick and picturesque ride on the Ottawa River between several locations in Ottawa and Gatineau.
The 100% electric and universally accessible Water Taxi Eh is a unique water shuttle service that travels between the Ontario and Quebec shores of the Ottawa River. Stops on the continuous short trip circuit (reservations not required) include the Ottawa Locks near the Bytown Museum, the Canadian Museum of History, and Richmond Landing near the Canadian War Museum. Depending on the route, you will enjoy views of Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court of Canada and the National Gallery of Canada.
The water taxis, which runs every day from roughly mid-May to mid-October, allow wheelchairs, bikes, strollers and pets.
