Ottawa VIP offers $50 off per room night till February 28, 2022
OTTAWA, October 22, 2021—Ottawa Tourism has extended its Ottawa Visitor Incentive Program (VIP)—which encourages tour operators to bring more visitors to Ottawa—until February 28, 2022. Originally launched to end on December 31, 2021, the program offers an incentive of $50 per room night when a paid admission to an eligible attraction is included. Hotels and attractions must be paid by the tour operator and proof of payment is required for the funding. There are no minimum room night requirements. Travel must be completed by February 28, 2022.
“We are excited to work with our tour operator clients to enhance their existing itineraries—or to build new ones—in order to showcase what Ottawa has to offer for a diverse clientele,” says Michael Crockatt, President and CEO of Ottawa Tourism. “Ottawa’s museums, sporting events, and other attractions—not to mention our hotels—are ready to safely welcome back visitors.”
To date, more than 20 top tour companies—hosting both domestic and international visitors—have joined this program.
