On Friday nights starting November 28th, visit the Chalet for Holiday Movie Nights where you can watch Magic on Set, a holiday rom-com short filmed and featuring Ottawa, before the scheduled movie. The Chalet seats 100, so make sure to secure your spot early!

This year, extended hours provide extra shopping time, and free admission, coat check, and an on-site ATM make it a convenient experience. Robert Plante Holiday Market 

On Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Robert Plante Greenhouses host their 3rd Annual Holiday Market. Over 275 local vendors will fill the lush greenhouses with tropical plants and holiday magic, offering unique gifts, festive décor, and delicious treats. Rain, snow, or shine, the indoor setting ensures a comfortable shopping experience. Pet-friendly and family-oriented, this market is perfect for those looking to support local artisans while enjoying a cozy and festive environment, with plenty of opportunities to discover one-of-a-kind holiday treasures. 

Cumberland Christmas Market 

The Cumberland Christmas Market takes place across four locations in this village 30 minutes east of downtown Ottawa, where streets and buildings are decorated for the season. Visitors can browse craft and food vendors, enjoy holiday-themed activities, and take photos with Santa. There is ample parking, making it easy for families to attend. While in the area, you can also visit the Vintage Village of Lights at the nearby Cumberland Heritage Museum, a heritage village decorated with festive lights, seasonal crafts, gingerbread decorating, and bonfires, adding an extra holiday experience for visitors. 

Mādahòkì Farm’s Christmas 

Visit Mādahòkì Farm this Christmas season to discover an immersive Indigenous winter market and festive programming from November 27 to December 28, 2025, excluding December 25. The Trail of Lights & Traditions invites families to explore the Legacy Trail, featuring whimsical woodland animals, dazzling light displays, Indigenous teachings, and festive carols. Hot drinks, fireside bannock, and the Marketplace with over 60 vendors add to the experience. The Indigenous Craft Market on November 29 and December 6 showcases beadwork, moccasins, artwork, and more, while hands-on workshops let visitors create earrings or beaded ornaments. Families can enjoy Breakfast with Santa, barnyard animals and hay play structures. This holiday season, Mādahòkì Farm is offering a unique holiday experience with private group dining for teams or organizations. 

Watson’s Mill Christmas Market 

Located in the charming village of Manotick, Watson’s Mill Christmas Market runs for three weekends starting November 22–23, 2025, and features over 35 vendors across three historic buildings. Shoppers can browse handmade crafts, gifts, and seasonal treats in a quaint and inviting setting. Admission is by donation, making it accessible for families and holiday enthusiasts alike. With its historic charm, the market provides a cozy and festive atmosphere, perfect for exploring while enjoying the village’s small-town holiday spirit.
