  • Where to watch IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa in person?

    VIP passes are available through IRONMAN’s website for prime viewing spots along the course. Here are the IRONMAN-suggested spots to cheer on the athletes: 

    • National Gallery of Canada – switchover from biking to running
    • Confederation Park – running
    • Experimental Farm – running
    • Parliament Hill – finish line
  • Where’s the IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa course?

    The IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa race covers three routes:

    1. 3.8km in the Ottawa River, a loop at Britannia Beach
    2. 180km cycling loop, from Britannia Beach along the Ottawa River to Beacon Hill, with a loop in Hull and along the Rideau Canal on Colonel By Drive.
    3. 42.2km run course from downtown along the Queenway Elizabeth Driveway, around Dow’s Lake and through the Central Experimental Farm’s grounds.
  • Can I still volunteer at IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa?

    Yes! Volunteers can still register online to help on race day or with set up (July 30 – August 2) or tear down (August 4).

The final run takes athletes through Ottawa’s vibrant streets, leading to a memorable finish line set against the stunning backdrop of Parliament Hill.
