Escape to a natural paradise rising out of the waters of the St. Lawrence River, offering swimming, boating, fishing and more.
Located just minutes from Highway 401 on the Long Sault Parkway, Mille Roches is the largest public beach on the St. Lawrence River corridor. Its beautiful location also boasts winding bike paths, pristine nature trails, boat launches and picnic areas.
Scuba divers can explore the submerged “Lost Villages” that were flooded to make way for the International Seaway and Power Dam project of 1958. For anglers, the area offers remarkable fishing including Hoople Creek Basin, one of the largest natural Pickerel fish hatcheries and fishing areas in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
