Ottawa Deaf Expo

Ottawa Deaf Expo (formerly known as Ottawa Mayfest) is a non-profit social and cultural event for the Deaf, Deafened, Oral Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. This celebration has taken place biennial in Ottawa since 1991.

​This event draws attendees from across Ontario as well as Quebec. Family, friends, and supporters in the community come together to recognize their culture, provide community awareness and raise funds to support program and community initiatives. The traditional day event consists of games for the children and information booths from the different businesses and organizations that represent the Deaf community.
