Nestled on a leafy block between lively Elgin Street and the Rideau Canal, the Rideau Inn is a cozy home-away-from-home that’s convenient to the sights and sounds of Ottawa’s downtown core. Each room is unique, varying in size, decor, and character with an ensuite or private hallway bathroom. For a little extra space, a two-bedroom suite is available. All rooms include air conditioning, cable television and free wi-fi.
The inn’s warm and welcoming common area features a living room and two breakfast rooms where you can enjoy the self-serve continental breakfast. From the inn, it’s just a short walk from the Canadian Museum of Nature as well as a wide range of restaurants and shops on Elgin Street and Bank Street. The National Arts Centre, Parliament Hill and other downtown attractions are also easily accessible, as is public transit. Onsite parking is available for an extra fee. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Children over 12 are welcome.
