Cumberland Heritage Village Museum 50th Anniversary Open House

Celebrate 50 years of Cumberland Heritage Village Museum with a special open house that brings Ottawa’s rural past to life through immersive historical experiences and hands-on discoveries. Visitors can explore a recreated 1920s and 1930s village, meet costumed interpreters, see heritage buildings and working vintage equipment and enjoy encounters with farm animals. The anniversary celebration also features a new Memory Wall showcasing photographs and stories from the museum’s first five decades, offering a meaningful look back at its enduring connection to the community.
