Sample and enjoy a variety of award-winning wines at this picturesque, countryside vineyard, just a 30-minute drive west of downtown Ottawa, either over rustic wine-barrel tables on the patio, or inside a charming, contemporary long-house.
Home to just over 11,000 vines of 8 varietals of cold-climate grapes, this vineyard holds more than fifteen international awards and five Canadian championship awards. Taking its name from a Zulu word meaning “happiness” or “rejoice”, Jabulani is meant to be a place of happiness. It first opened in 2011, just one year after its first harvest. Tom, the owner, has put to use the techniques and methods he learned as a teenager, travelling the wine regions of the Cape Province of South Africa to produce uniquely flavoured wines. Offering tours and tastings, the vineyard also hosts events such as weddings.
