One night in 1981, as Jamie is closing his bar, a last-minute customer offers him and his girlfriend Abby a thousand dollars each to have a drink with him. As they share stories and Jamie reflects on the crossroads in his life—both musically and romantically—the couple begins to sense that this older man is unusually invested in their choices. Things take an unexpected turn when a second stranger arrives, and the trio’s conversation takes on a new layer of intrigue.
