Ottawa Tourism has several resources available to its member businesses to help them stay connected to the latest tourism industry news, events and developments.
- Event calendar - Ottawa Tourism’s event calendar is a free resource for member businesses to share your upcoming events in the Ottawa region. Please ensure your submissions follow the criteria listed on our submissions page.
- Social media – Tag your photos with #MyOttawa or #MonOttawa for a chance to be featured on our social media channels. Be sure to follow us, too, on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Canada in One City - You’ll find all the tools you need to understand Ottawa Place DNA™ and how to leverage brand themes.
- Shine On Academy – This is a free interactive learning tool to train front-line hospitality employees about tourism in Ottawa, customer service best practices, and what to see and do in our destination. Staff can register today for the Academy.
- Shine On Awards – This rewards program was developed to recognize excellent service in all areas of front-line hospitality. Supervisors can nominate their employees for outstanding customer service.
- Webinars – Ottawa Tourism held three member-exclusive webinars on how to work with various departments of Ottawa Tourism. More webinars and in-person events to come! See these webinar recordings:
- Tear-off maps - Ottawa Tourism can provide you a free supply of printed tear-off maps of the region for visitors. Contact the Membership team to place an order.
- Paid partnership opportunities – Learn about the pay-to-play partnership opportunities available through our marketing department that could help put your business front and centre for visitors.
- Ottawa images and b-Roll – Ottawa Tourism is happy to provide high-resolution, four-season images and b-roll of major sites and attractions in Ottawa for use by members, the media, tour operators and other clients, royalty free.
- What’s Happening in the Ottawa Area – Sign up to receive our e-mail sent every Thursday highlighting great things happening in the Ottawa area over the upcoming week! The content is also updated every week on the corresponding webpage.
- Member Extranet – The Member Extranet is where you can access more resources, receive leads and keep your account information up to date. Log-in now.
