Member approval process
All prospective member applications must undergo a three-part approval process, which can take up to 2 months to complete. Prospective member applications are reviewed by the membership department, the membership committee and our Board of Directors. Applications are processed between September and June and require approval from each review body to be approved for membership. Please note that all decisions are final and prospective applicants cannot appeal this process.
Memberships are renewed annually, based on the calendar year. Membership is valid once approved by Ottawa Tourism’s Board of Directors. Requests to cancel membership must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Ottawa Tourism may cancel or suspend any member for breach of the member code of ethics, at its sole discretion.
