Just a short drive south of Ottawa in the beautiful municipality of North Grenville, Saunders Country Critters Zoo and Sanctuary is home to a wide range of animals, from three-legged deer and blind opossums who cannot be released into the wild, to lemurs, servals and other exotics once kept illegally. Visitors can explore the Sanctuary’s 20-acre property and enjoy a fun-filled day getting to know the animals.
Open seasonally beginning in May, Saunders Country Critter Zoo and Sanctuary is also home to Saunders Garden Centre and hosts summer camps and school groups.
