Pizandawatc / The One Who Listens showcases powerful works by Anishinaabe/French artist Caroline Monnet, exploring themes of memory, identity and cultural resilience through a deeply personal lens. Featuring wooden sculptures, bronze forms and embroidered textile works inspired by Anishinaabe language, oral history and connections to the land, the exhibition highlights Monnet’s innovative approach to contemporary Indigenous art. Visitors can experience thought-provoking works that reflect on belonging, cultural renewal and the enduring relationship between people, language and territory.
