Step into the inner sanctum of our country's political history by visiting the former home of two important prime ministers of Canada. Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King entertained dignitaries and politicians there, while often conducting the business of state. Travel back in time while touring the Victorian mansion rooms that mostly remains as they were when Mackenzie King lived there. Admire the fabulous collection of personal objects and priceless artwork that belonged to the two men, retrace their important achievements and discover the new exhibition presented in the kitchen that features how a nation ate during the Second World War. Come have tea on the verandah on a Saturday afternoon, participate in a State Dinner prepared and served by the Signatures Restaurant by Le Cordon Bleu, attend an interactive theatre or take an entertaining guided tour of the house.
